Guadalupe Partners were at American Family Planning Friday and Saturday of this week. The experiences of the two days were very similar. There were six appointments on each day, the clientele was largely African-American, and the number of accompanying men/boyfriends on each day was higher than usual. On both days the crowds were distressingly indifferent to our presence and our message. At one point I decided to call in prayer support, so I telephoned a friend from Milwaukee. She said that at least we were battling; and how could we expect a victory if we weren’t?
