Again we met a fairly large, unresponsive crowd in front of the abortuary Saturday morning. But I have learned that anything can happen–and sure enough, at least two mothers did reject the false promises made to them that morning.
We couldn’t stay long in Detroit, because I needed to relieve my daughter at the Guadalupe Partners booth at the Pro-Life summit, but we did stop to see a new mother, one who was turned away from the abortuary about two weeks ago. She needed help with rent, which we were glad to do; but as we talked a little more she admitted that she had nothing in the refrigerator. So then and there we decided to take her to a local market where she could purchase hallal meat. The market was only about six blocks away–but halfway there we were stunned by the sound of an explosion-an explsion of glass. The rear window suddenly, inexplicably, blew right out of its frame. I was later asked if someone had shot at us. I don’t think so! Just a weird phenomenon of air pressure.
