March 8, 2008

Last Saturday was a very cold day, the wind was blowing hard and the snow never stopped while we were there. It was hard to keep track of all the people who came into the mill. It had snowed so much during the week that the sidewalk was blocked on one side from all the snow that had been removed from the front of the door. The was a couple in a grey car parked on the parking lot that does not belong to the mill. One of us approached the car and the man who was driving took the information and threw it out the window. The lady on the passenger’s seat, was crying unconsolable. It was evident that she didn’t want to be there and that perhaps she was being forced to kill her baby. We had the opportunity to talk to her for a few minutes. She had an abortion before, her eyes were full of tears and her sight was lost without hope or love. We asked her why was she there and she said she didn’t know. The man who brought her to the clinic called her in. He had already been inside the clinic to make sure she didn’t missed her spot. For 30 min or so one of our friends begged her from the sidewalk to have the courage to come out. She listen, she came out and the man who was with her was angry. He took all the information we had given her and dropped it in the floor. He isolated her again. It was hard to see the abuse that woman is going thru. Her baby is safe for now, but truly none of her babies or even her are safe with that man in their lives. Please pray for them. One thing I know is that she was able to see that no one could ever force her to kill her own baby. She had the strength to face that man and to defend the life of her baby. Many more were there who stayed and killed their babies, but 4 in total left the clinic with their babies. Mr. Miller got sick after that and it is my turn to write the review. We continue to be there with all that we can to help the women see that they are not alone, that God loves them that there is hope because He is in control. We become weak and we become sick, but God is always there and to those who say yes, He provides.
